Charles Haddon Spurgeon known world-wide as the "Prince of Preachers," is on of England's most gifted and worthy sons.  Saved at the age of 15, he became an avid student of the Bible and fervent preacher of God's Word.  He built the famed Metropolitan Tabernacle where thousands came to hear him, built many Sunday Schools and churches, established several orphanages for children, founded a college for pastors, and was president of a society for distributing Bibles and tracts.
